Pod Product Tour
Welcome to Pod! This guided tour will help you understand each part of the platform so you can confidently build, launch, and manage AI phone agents. Each section links to a detailed guide with step-by-step instructions.
1. Get Started with Agents
Your journey starts with creating your first agent. Agents are the core of Pod — they handle your calls, answer questions, and take action.
Agent Setup → Learn the fundamentals of creating an agent, setting its purpose, and understanding how Pod organizes your agents.
Inbound Agent Setup → Perfect if you want an agent to answer calls from customers, provide support, or route people to your team. Includes quickstart prompts.
Outbound Agent Setup → Ideal if you want your agent to proactively reach out to leads or customers. Great for sales, reminders, and follow-ups.
Outbound Campaign Setup → Use this if you need to call many people at once. Upload a CSV of leads, and Pod will automatically run the campaign.
2. Configure Phone Numbers
Phone Number Overview → Understand how numbers are assigned to agents and how they work in Pod.
Twilio Phone Number Setup → Step-by-step for connecting Twilio numbers.
Telnyx Phone Number Setup → Step-by-step for connecting Telnyx numbers.
3. Power Your Agent with Knowledge
Knowledge Base Setup → Upload FAQs, PDFs, docs, or connect your public website so your agent always has answers.
Language Support → Expand your reach by making your agent multilingual. Train it to handle Spanish, French, or other languages alongside English.
4. Add Smart Actions
Connect Apps → Learn how to integrate Pod with your favorite tools like CRMs, calendars, and ticketing systems.
Zapier Setup → Trigger workflows whenever an inbound call comes in (e.g., create a new ticket in Zendesk).
Call Transfer Setup → Let your agent route calls to the right person on your team if human assistance is needed.
5. Manage & Monitor
Monitor Call History → Review transcripts and recordings to understand customer conversations and improve prompts.
Invite Team Members → Add teammates to your Pod workspace so they can help manage agents and calls.
Test Agent → Use the Playground to simulate calls and make adjustments before going live.
