Steps to Create Your First Outbound Agent

1. Log in and start a new agent

Go to https://www.callpod.ai/dashboard/agents. Click New Agent, give it a clear name (e.g., “Lead Follow-Up Agent”), and add a short description.

2. Select outbound agent type

3. Provide context with prompts

“You are a friendly sales agent. Call new leads within minutes of form submission, confirm their interest, and transfer to a human rep if needed.”

4. Upload a knowledge base

5. Connect a phone number

Outbound calls require a number to dial from. In the Numbers tab, connect your Twilio or Telnyx account and assign a number to the agent. 👉 Guide: Phone Number Setup

6. Trigger calls

With the Zapier connection, you can connect your forms, CRM, or apps to Pod so that when a new lead comes in, your agent calls right away.
